As I understand it *ISO is ccyy-mm-dd format. *ISO0 is ccyymmdd format.
As for the ON-ERROR statement, you can use *ALL. Otherwise the RPG
manual says error numbers 00112, 00113, and 00114 are date conversion
errors. There may be others in the list that I missed.
