The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

In V6R1 the Retrieve Job Information API QUSRJOBI format JOBI0200 (documented at
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/systems/scope/i5os/topic/apis/qusrjobi.htm )
was enhanced to return the message key and message queue that an active job is waiting on. This information, when used with the various Message Handler APIs that exist on the system, should be sufficient for you to provide capabilities similiar to option 7 of wrkactjob.
In previous releases this type of information was available for print writers in a message wait status (Retrieve Writer Information API QSPRWTRI), but not for active jobs in general.

I am working on a "WRKACTJOB" like display which will only show jobs in "MSGW" status. This is so that the support guys will not have to wade through all the other hundreds of jobs that they will not have to worry about.
I have found ways to create the same functionality for all the important options that are available on "WRKACTJOB" - except one. I have not yet found a command or an API that gives me the function to see the message and enter the reply (same as option 7 on WRKACTJOB).
Any ideas on how to go about this?
