about service programs muddy the water? My understanding, quite possibly

and 'service' all the programs that use them -- so would they be
considered a job of their own, with a single storage allottment?

If you and a buddy both use CUSINQ to look up a customer, does the
CHAIN that happens in your job affect his job?
-- No, it has never happened - and we have done a lot of testing to try
to 'break' it. We just were not 100% sure we were not just getting lucky
:)
