Someone like Scott Klement, who is pretty familiar with the *NIX environment, might have more info, but it *might* be possible to run the binaries in PASE. It will probably depend upon the version of AIX you are running on the p. Most of the binaries I use in PASE are downloaded from "generic" AIX sites so it will just depend upon the OS version and the installation steps needed to get them properly installed.

If MySQL binaries and the like can run in PASE without being recompiled, I would guess other binaries would as well.
