The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Carmen,The users do not always read these so they want me to create a subfile for them to review and sign off. I think there is a kind of a key between the sender and receive id and some other fields and the sequence #. but I am not positive if this is reliable.
Shannon, we don;t use a package but a 3rd party service who sends us flat files.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
I think it would be pretty tough to anticipate everything that could come in
an 864 document. We just have ours print on a report and have a human read
it...

Subject: EDI Notes 864
HI I have a need to take the EDI notes info document 864 and make sense of
it. Perhaps someone has done this already and can save me some time and
aggravation. I would like to process this via my RPG programs that will for
example remove messages that are silly, such as customers who send a notice
of a new telephone # that is 000-000-0000.
and other such. I cannot see in what way this is a database that I can
make sense of.
Thank you,
Mike
