OK, I am looking at an RPG program that has reads one logical file based
on a status code of the record. Say code "A", grouped by Invoice number.
When there is an erroneous condition within this Invoice group, the
program changes the status of all the records to an "H". A simple loop
thus, read, check, put on H or not, read next.
What actually happens when the status is changed? Is the program still
going to read the original records anyway? I would think not but wanted
to check.
Thank you,
Phil
