I would suggest the following. Make a copy of the spreadsheet withnickmart@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2007/09/05 14:37 >>>
orientation set to landscape. Open both of the stpreadsheets with anthe
application like Wordpad or Notepad so you can see the actual coding
behind the scenes. You should be able to find the coding that sets

Hi,
I have been assigned a project to create an Excel Spreadsheet using
RPG, I have just finished my first RPGLE program to write directly
anhaving
Excel Spreadsheet guided by the fantastic articles by Scott Klementand
Zach's answer to the binding directory mystery both of which arelisted
below, I am quite pleased that everything works! However-I am
aAdjust
problem when I print the spreadsheet, is there a way to default the
print setup with regards to "Orientation Landscape" ; "Scaling
tocalled
81%" ; "Paper Size A4(210x297mm)" "Top Left and Right Margins to 0"and
"Print Gridlines" from my RPGLE or any other tool that can be

Hello,
I am in the process of trying to write and read Excel Spreadsheets
from
an RPG program using Java objects. I have followed the procedures
posted
in the article:
iSeries Network Publication
http://www.iseriesnetwork.com
Home of iSeries NEWS Magazine
Editor: Scott Klement
Issue 182
September 16, 2004
I have downloaded the poi files, and source examples, however -
Imailing
try to compile the RPG - it ends abnormally but with the followingthe
messages in my spool file:
Message Totals:
Information (00) . . . . . . : 448
Warning (10) . . . . . . . : 0
Error (20) . . . . . . . : 0
Severe Error (30+) . . . . .. : 0
Am I missing something? I have copied and pasted the poi files in
path specified using the iSeries Navigator - is this correct andmaybe
the cause of the problem? Does the RPG need a different compiler?mailing
PLEASE
HELP
Thanks
