If you are on V5R4, the new EVAL-CORR opcode might be of use. We just
got V5R4 installed on our development machine over weekend so I haven't
played with any of the new functionality yet.

I think you could chain to the LF data structures, but instead of having
the LF data structures overlay the PF data structure, use EVAL-CORR to
move the common fields. (CLEARing the PF data structure
first.)
