The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

One might also reason that NOTES are different than DOCUMENTS and that notes don't need the storage or processing requirements of documents, but I'm still mulling over Walden's point about having one program handling notes for users, items, work requests, screen help text ... why not make it generic?
