There may be some simple solution for this but I can't seem to get it. The
program I need to call through the 'callp' statement needs to be dynamic.

Although I haven't used this technique myself ... I know it's possible.

Instead of a callp, you need to do a prototyped call ... and use
procedure pointers.

Basically, you establish the addresses of similarly prototyped
procedures, and then the procedure you call is defined with a pointer as
it's 'extproc'. See
http://wiki.midrange.com/index.php/Procedure_Pointers for some information.
