BTW, Mike - here is what I did to find that FAQ:

Google search on:

passing parameters in query/400

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4DMUS_enUS204US204&q=passing+parameters+in+query%2f400

The Midrange FAQ was the third link in the resulting search list...

Subject: passing params in Query

HI Instead of an RPG program I have a good working Query/400 - all it needs is to accept date parameters. Can this be done in Query/400 or Query manager?

If you have or can point me to an example this would be great. I looked in the archives here but did not find. The examples all used hard coded dates. I want to get the dates from the *LDA via a CL.

Thanks,
Mike
