You snipped out my stuff and looked at it
separately instead of how it related to the above statement. I do NOT
feel that "application only access" (implemented primarily via adopted
programs) is security by obscurity and never said such. The security by
obscurity is the earlier argument that I made about not naming fields SSN
and that sort of rot.

Since your comment was in response to my statement about application only
access and did not specifically reference any previous statement, I guess I
figured that you were talking about application only access! Silly me.


What part of "true" without any "but" do you not understand? :-)

Why, I guess I thought you were being sarcastic. Don't know why I would
have ever gotten that idea... <grin>
