The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

not a disadvantage ... because you need to implement the procedure in a
different way in order to use it in other places.
Disadvantage means, to me at least, that there is a down side to doing
something. In this case, there is no disadvantage to using an internal
procedure because it can't be used by other programs. If you want the
procedure to be used by other programs, you need to implement it in a
module and/or service program.
