The transaction log for a financial application is a good candidate to
go to a "WRITE ONLY" file, that can be proccesed directly with RPG or
SQL (not like a journal or a CD).
In this kind of files nobody should update the account number, or the
amount of a transaction.
In case of error an extra transaction is needed, that leaves an easy to
follow audit trail.
