What do you mean by "call the URL"? Are you trying to get a browser to
pop up? If so, this was recently discussed and you should check the
archives. If you are trying to call a URL behind the scenes, take a look
at Scott Klement's HTTPAPI at
http://www.scottklement.com/httpapi/.

Not at this point - eventually we may want to send data, but initially
we just want to call the URL.

Subject: Calling a URL from RPG
I need some help getting started with a project where I need to call a
URL via a function key on the AS/400 using an RPG program. Is there an
API that would do this? Or would STRPCCMD be better suited to this type
of functionality?
Thanks,
