Re: Timestamp edit code problem with midnight as 00:00:00 but I want 24:00:00

A friend of mine (Colonel in the Army Reserve) says that, for that very reason, orders are not cut for reservists to "Report at 2400" because then they can claim 2 days pay! So, if they want 'em to report at midnight, they cut the orders to "Report at 0005" just so no one can claim that 0000 is really 2400.

In the military, 2400 only exists as the end of the day. As soon as you advance to the minute/second/microsecond past midnight(depending on the resolution of your time piece), the time count starts at 1.
