Yeah, the non-transitory nature of a "month" is problematic.

Man, I give up. First, I meant transitive, no transitory. Second,
transitive is the wrong term anyway, I probably should have used reflexive.
In fact, I think I should have said that month arithmetic is asymmetric, but
now I've confused myself.

Must... get... coffee...
