And technically incorrect...... Hours 0 - 23 account for all the time in one
day. As soon as you go past 23:59:59, it becomes the next day.

I was surprised but, 24.00.00 is valid for a timestamp (Try it). It's
bad replacement for 00.00.00 because you will loose the microsecond
accuracy for a whole second (24.00.00 plus any microseconds is invalid).
This is not something I'd do if unique timestamps are needed.
