Use external field name in an array

Hello,

I am want to load 5 columns in a subfile from a two dimension array.

     col1 col2 col3 col4 col5 ...   
row1 rm#  rm#  rm#  rm#  rm#    
row2 rm#  rm#  rm#       rm#    
row3 rm#       rm#       rm#    
row4                     rm#
...
...
...
...

I get the two dimensional array loaded and I want to load the sfl
columns

From this array.

Is there a way to reference the sfl rm# fields in an array?
The way I originally coded it I'm getting an RNF4138 externally
described field used as array name.
 
Subfile columns are:
iwrm#col1       iwrm#col2       iwrm#col3       iwrm#col4
iwrm#col5
