Alan,

Changing the parameters to a procedure will *not* change the signature of a
service program. The only thing that will change the signature (assuming
SIGNATURE(*GEN) was specified for the STRPGMEXP command in the binder
source) is changing the number or order of the procedures themselves in the
binder source. Of course, if the SP was created with EXPORT(*ALL), then this
also applies.

do I need to recompile programs that uses it?  I've checked all programs
and non of them are passing the last parameter (This is an optional
parameter).
