Shouldn't.  We have an application that uses the same field names 
throughout the system.  For example ORDNBR would be the same in the 
ORDHEAD and ORDLINE and you have to use rename in RPG/400 to handle this. 
I specs also come in handy for control breaks (if you choose to use that 
stuff and, no, let's not rehash that argument).
