In programming, there are mostly opinions about how something should be done rather than absolutes. Were I writing the code in this case, it would appear as follows: EVAL WKEndTheLoop = 'N' DOW WKEndTheLoop <> 'Y' If data queue is not full EVAL WKEndTheLoop = 'Y' ENDIF ENDDO In my opinion, this makes the code clearer.
