It does help to compile the program after you make the code change too, 
would explain why the code was still executing.  I compiled, it runs fine 
now.... sorry for the interuption... you can all have a good laugh on this 
one though.... thought I lost it, actually, I might have... :)

Another thought would be a GOTO...that's pretty obvious. And another
technique would be compiler directives like DEFINE and use conditions.
