Thanks for the (always) reasoned feedback. My hope from this thread is that someone will find it in the archives 
and read the fine manual before giving up on (fill in a
new thing).
My own hope for the thread is that people will realize that just because a Cycle-related feature isn't of any practical benefit to them doesn't mean The Cycle itself is a worthless relic.
