If so then how?

Normally, in this type of situation, I've got multiple order account
numbers with the same A/P account number.  In which case it is a simple
matter to have

Select apnbr, sum(amount)

From file

Group by apnbr

But it doesn't sound like you have that.

You also said, "For the sake of this report, it doesn't matter which
account number is listed for the total Burger-Kings." which is a little
confusing.

If you want more help, you'll have to give us some idea of what the data
looks like and maybe some samples of the input and what you want output.
