I don't mind it in C but, for some reason, it just doesn't look right in RPG. I've used it though. If RPG used a different operator for equivalency and assignment or had a ternary operator, it would be much clearer. More flexible with the ternary operator too. In C: var1 = (var 2 == value); OR var1 = ((var 2 == value) ? ValueIfTrue : ValueIfFalse );
