<Why would you bother giving the indicators nice names if you're going
to refer to them as '*IN27'>

Because my desired action wasn't taking place on the display file - and
the only reference to ExcludeSys (nice name) is indicator 27. So, I
checked to see if *IN27 was on, and it wasn't, even though the nice
named indicator WAS on...

BOTH, but also the indicators that are CONDITIONING indicators... I do

have the INDARA and data structure. However, it isn't affecting the
*IN indicators and array.

AFAIK, you either have to use a pointer to line your INDDS/INDARA DS up
with the *IN[] array, or not use the INDARA. It's been so long since I
didn't use an INDDS/INDARA that I might be wrong about that. Why the
heck would you want the two to be the same anyway? Why would you bother
giving the indicators nice names if you're going to refer to them as
'*IN27' or just '34' later on? If you're doing that, just don't use the
INDDS/INDARA keywords, and I think the indicators in the DDS will map to
the *IN array by default.

Adam
