Willie, Take a look at Scott Klement's post - he has a more elegant way of doing the same thing using seconds. hth, Dave B

Dave, Thanks that is what I needed. Josh Diggs here in the office saw my post and came up with the same answer. Thanks to everyone for their help and ideals. Sometimes the forest gets in the way. If so the 1 hour two minutes would be 1 + 2/60 or 1.033333 not 1.02. Why not jsut divide the minutes by 60 to get the hundredths? Unless I muisunderstand. Dave B

Alan, Yes. The differents between two time (1:00pm and 2:02pm) would be 1 hour 2 minutes. What I need or would like would be it to be 102. This would allow me to multiply the hourly wage by this figure to get cost. I have a need to convert the difference between two times into hundreds. This is so we can calculate the cost for job costing. I have used the *H, *MN options. Is there one for hundreds? I have done this in RPGIII. But it requires a lot of calculation. If not, can I get an example of a better way to do this. Thanks, William Moore
