RE: Record lock checking in RPG or CL?

Phil,  I'd have to agree with Dave.  Use the (E) extender on the CHAIN or
READ that you are executing.  Then use BIFs  %ERROR and %STATUS to monitor
for a specific error (or use the PSDS)

You've got to put your code where you are reading the record. Don't
think you can do it in a CL if you are reading the record in a follow-on
RPG program...
