Let me suggest a few possibilities from my own past "stupid programmer
tricks":
Could the object be in your own QTEMP library?
Are you sure that PGMB is the object causing the message?
Is the object name spelled correctly in the call statement?

Could you have duplicated a program name that may reside in another
library
and appears in her LIBL before your library?

Good question - I did a WRKOBJ *all/PGMB and it doesn't show up anywhere
except in my library. This is a totally new program, and I was careful to
check the name was available before starting.

Thanks for the idea,
Adam
