If you can't see this "internets" thing on a green-screen, it'll never last. Sounds like one of those fads. On 10/30/06, rob@xxxxxxxxx <rob@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Docs aren't handy? You ought to get a "web browser" for your computer. A web browser will allow you to search something called the internet for manuals, etc. For example, you could go to this link http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/books/sc092508.pdf In the What's New section you can see that V5R1 added EXTFILE and EXTMBR. Another place to drill down into the manuals is at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/ :-) Rob Berendt -- Group Dekko Services, LLC Dept 01.073 PO Box 2000 Dock 108 6928N 400E Kendallville, IN 46755 http://www.dekko.com "James H H Lampert" <jamesl@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 10/30/2006 01:11 PM Please respond to RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject Re: Another quick question: qualified filenames in RPG Thanks for pointing me to the "EXTFILE" keyword. I kind of suspected such a thing would exist by V5R3, but the docs aren't exactly handy. As far as I'm concerned, EXTFILE ought to have existed by V1R3! -- JHHL -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
