What I find interesting is when I debugged simple program posted here 
earlier

     C     1             SETLL     CMP002
     C                   READ      CMP002

When the first read is performed I see no indication the file is ever 
touched. When the second read is performed the code jumps up to the file 
as I expect it to do in debug during a file read.
