1) I don't see why JNI would be particularly different on iSeries 2) The C definition in QSYSINC/H/JNI matches what you show for FreeBSD 3) The RPG definitions should be equivalent to the C definitionsSo I presume the RPG definitions are wrong (probably because they are likely generated rather than coded).
Not only should the RPG DS use OVERLAY to create a union but member l should be a jobject rather than a jint
