Not really.... Just process the space in 32K chunks. This is usually done via
pointers.

Subject: Workaround for 32767-byte and 32767-element limits?

Is there a workaround for the 32767-byte limit on the
length of a character standalone field or DS subfield,
and/or the 32767-element limit on arrays?

I'm asking on behalf of a colleague, and I don't fully
understand myself what the purpose is here, but I believe
they are to be used as some sort of communication buffer.
