I have to agree with Michael here. If you want just the one value then move that value to both HiCat and LoCat. If you want all values then move *hival to HiCat and *loval to LoCat. Trying the technique you are looking for brings you back to multiple SQL statements. Which, as Michael says, might as well bring you back to one with the WHERE and one without. Rob Berendt
