DBCS Spool Files -- RPG400-L

We have recently upgraded our ERP package(written in RPG)  to a higher
(test) version.  Unfortunately it converted to a DBCS Data Base which
now produces a double byte spool file (DBCS) and our forms processing
package only takes single byte spool files.  Is it possible to convert a
DBCS spool file back to a regular spool file?  I520.  V5R3.
