I'm NOT going to give you the technical answer, but anyone 
who has had the
CS101 course (basic programming logic) has surely been taught 
that a DO WHILE loop (RPG/400's DOW operation) doesn't check 
the looping condition until it reaches the END of the loop 
(RPG/400's ENDDO operation).

I think that's incorrect.  Doesn't the DOW check at the start of the loop
and the DOU check at the end?
