Not confused at all...from the OP it seemed that she has given up on finding an RPG IV class that caters to beginners & assumed that she would have to learn RPG III first in order to learn RPG IV. Are you confused??/ Thanks, Tommy Holden -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mike Sent: Wednesday, August 16, 2006 11:00 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: RPG training Are people confused? She doesn't want to learn RPG III, she just wants to learn RPG IV. The only classes she has found is for the old timers who know RPG III and want to know RPG IV. I would do what some have mentioned which is a local college then maybe a converence or a book. RPG isn't really hard, if you have some good examples to start with you can get a good start quickly. Assuming you have some programming expirience. On 8/16/06, Holden Tommy <Tommy.Holden@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Personally I would learn RPG IV then RPG III only if you have to.
