Is there another error message telling you that EXTNAME NCMASTP is found? Make sure that that library is in the library list. Also what release are you compiling with? I am using SQL to get some data. I have the reciever variable defined as D gResultDs E DS ExtName(NCMASTP) and the fetch statement is C/EXEC SQL C+ FETCH C1 INTO :gResultDS C/END-EXEC When I compile the SQL precompiler tells me: "SQL0312 Position 24 Variable GRESULTDS not defined or not usable." Now I know I have done this before at my previous job, but I am not sure what I am missing. This is driving me nuts. Any ideas? I assume it is something stupid I am doing.... -- Mike Wills http://mikewills.name - Blog http://theriverbendpodcast.com - Podcast -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
