Some info on what I'm doing: - I'm trying to create a program to display the IFS directory that is similar to what WRKLNK command is doing. - This program basically uses unix api, readdir, to get a list of directory content and put them in a temp file in QTEMP. The program then displays the content on a subfile window. - When user takes option 5 on the directory entry on this subfile, the program call itself and the cycle continue (recursive call with actgrp(*new) in the H spec). - This temp file is under commitment control (set option commit=*all). The program does rollback before exit to get rid of all the records that created on that call level/activation group. Problem encounter: - The rollback part work correctly (only rollback record created on the call level/activation group). However, the data in the qtemp file that created by one call level/activation group can be seen by the same program that running on another activation group. Anybody know if there is a commitment control key word/option that can prevent this?
