It's 2 underscores.... Thanks, Tommy Holden -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mike Pantzopoulos - (H/O) Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2006 8:42 PM To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: __error in Scott Klement's e-Book I'm working my way through Scott Klement's e-book on the ifs (thanks a million Scott!) and I'm trying to apply the coding for error handling. On page 16 he refers to a C run-time routine called '__errno'. I understand what's happening but the function doesn't seem to exist! I get: Message . . . . : Definition not found for symbol '__errno'. On the binding step, and when I look up the ILE C Run-Time Library pdf (version 5 SC41-5607-01) and there's no reference to it or anything similar. Is this just a bad typo or have I missed something fundamental? Thanks in advance.
