Is there a firewall in the mix that's blocking port 389 to the
company.com box? How about rules on that box that control what servers are allowed to talk to it directly? Matt ..Good question Matt, yes I checked that. The company firewall setup stops traffic coming in from the Internet, but allows free play inside the intranet. And, there are no restrictions on the LDAP directory boxes as long as they're behind that firewall. There are also no restrictions on the AS400/i5 port either. --Alan
