× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Are you using the full directory path of the logon user when passing it

to ldap_simple_bind_s?

...I have tried "CN=myname", which the vb programmer assured me was enough, and 
which also matches Scott's example. I also tried with "myname", which he also 
had said was enough (IIRC). 

I will go back and check this again too, among other things.
