Did you close the print file before executing the OVRPRTF cmd and then open the print file? -- Thanks, Bob Dobrowolski Sr. Programmer Analyst Star Stainless Screw Co. 973-256-2300 x232 -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Don Wereschuk Sent: Thursday, 01 June, 2006 14:06 To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Change printer Does anyone know how to change the actual printer during program execution? I want to print a file to PRT1 and then print the same file to PRT2 then change back to PRT1. I tried using QCMDEXC with CHGPRTF but I'm either using the wrong command or the wrong option ( I am changing DEV() ). The program compiles and executes alright but all copies are sent to the same printer. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide. ****************************************** Don Wereschuk ISD Associate - Programmer Simcoe Parts Service Inc.
