I believe they said that RPG and the AS/400 were dead a long time ago... maybe 15 - 20 years now? Look where it is now... still around... still kicking. Know why? Cause it works... plain and simple. We'll all be dead a long time before those concerns will ever (if ever) be realized. Comforting isn't it? Ron Power Programmer Information Services City Of St. John's, NL P.O. But, I was having a conversation w/ the company Controller. He indicated that he was concerned regarding the long term support for the RPG language. He is not an IT guy, but is very industry savvy. I immediatly laughed and said no way, the support will always be there. Then he got me to thinking, what if he is right? Does anyone else share this concern? Steve
