Does the program accept parameters? If so, make sure that the receiving program's parms are the exact same size as what's being passed by the calling program. I've seen odd things like that cause similiar issues. Help that helps. I do a few chains to various files, for the purpose of identifying problem records in our EDI system. I am getting strange data in the output, I do a CLEAR after every WRITE. but I must be missing something. There are 2 writes to this file. The first is if there is a no found condition, between one set of EDI files and another (they should be matched). The other is when a field is not equal to same field in a cross ref. file.
