Yes, I've found it useful to know in this and many (or most) othercases, the way things work under the covers and behind the scenes. Makesfor better decisions on code efficiency, performance issues and suchmatters. Although especially with the flying speeds of the newermachines, it's increasingly a matter of making code more maintainablewith costs in other places...
