That's a good point.
Make sure that the %Found() is being performed right after the operation.
Or specify the filename in the ().

The chance of RPG not chain correctly is slim to none. I'll double
check the code.
Note:
It did happen to me one time where %found() indicated not found but
%found(FILENAME) indicated found. Installed a PTF and corrected the
problem.
