Give this a try, put this portion of code in your *INZSR:(pulled from this
list)
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Set Option
C+ Naming = *Sys,
C+ Commit = *None,
C+ UsrPrf = *User,
C+ DynUsrPrf = *User,
C+ Datfmt = *iso,
C+ CloSqlCsr = *EndMod,
C+ Commit = *NONE
C/END-EXEC

Compile your program with COMMIT(*NONE).

I hope this helps.

Subject
SQL Update in RPGLE.

Pros,

I am trying to execute this simple update statement. The program compiles
and it runs and gives the dsply message but the file is not updated. Am I
doing something wrong here? I would really appreciate it if somebody can
point me in the right direction.
