Try call 'RENAME' (in caps) in your RPG. Object names on the AS/400 are
generally in caps.

Subject: Error occurred while calling program or procedure

I am getting this error when I try to call a (CL) program from within my
rpgle program:
Error occurred while calling program or procedure

Copy of CL that is being called:
             PGM PARM(&PDFFILE)
DCL VAR(&CUSTNO) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(6 )
DCL VAR(&PDFFILE) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(340)
             CPY OBJ(&PDFFILE) TODIR('/pdf')
MONMSG MSGID(CPFA09C CPFA0A0)
ENDPGM

Here is the RPGLE call:
C call 'rename'
C PARM PDFFILE

I have made sure that the library that 'rename' is in, is in my library
list. I have been able to do this in the past. Must be the old age over
taking over.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
William Moore
